C-Town

Expired milk and warm refrigeration has gotten this store shut down by the health department in the past. New management has taken over and seems to be cleaning up the place, but has lead to labor disputes with unionized workers.

I used to shop here in the 80s when I lived just across the street on Third Street. It was a dump but it was convenient. I recall having to wash the tops of six-packs of soda when I brought them home. I also recall at times preferring to trudge all of the way to the Colony Square Pathmark to buy certain items I would never buy at the C-Town.
