Its not just bag ladies either; the carts are rumored to have appeared in the hallways of new luxury apartment towers.<\/p>\n<p>So far, neither BJ&#8217;s nor the city have done much in the way of cracking down on the abandoned carts. One solution the city could implement is simply fining BJ&#8217;s Wholesale Club for every cart found around the city. The retailer would probably quickly figure out a way to keep their carts on their lot. <\/p>\n<p><center><img SRC=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/photos\/20080715\/20080715bj2.jpg\"> <br \/>A BJ&#8217;s cart is tucked beside a motorcycle on Wayne Street<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img SRC=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/photos\/20080715\/20080715bj3.jpg\"><br \/>Outside of Grove Pointe, a cart lurks filled with plastic bags<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img SRC=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/photos\/20080715\/20080715bj4.jpg\"><br \/>Columbus Drive<\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img SRC=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/photos\/20080715\/20080715bj5.jpg\"><br \/>Columbus Drive and Marin Blvd<\/center><\/p>\n<p><b>UPDATE<\/b><br \/><center><img SRC=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/photos\/20080716\/20080716bjs6.jpg\" alt=\"Another BJ's Shopping Cart Downtown\"><br \/>Found another one in the Italian Village, First Street.<br \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><b>UPDATE 2<\/b><br \/><center><img SRC=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/photos\/20080717\/20081708bj7.jpg\"><br \/>Newark Avenue Parking Lot<\/center><br \/><center><img SRC=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/photos\/20080717\/20081708bj8.jpg\"><br \/>Second Street. This is the nearest to BJ&#8217;s of any of the carts, at just two blocks away.
