But then we saw this:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/ny6images\/columbusplaza_small.jpg\"><\/center><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/newyorkssixth.com\/ny6images\/columbusplaza_big.jpg\">[enlarge]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yes, another shiny new tower. The construction of this building will help in making a pedestrian friendly link between the downtown waterfront and the Grove street area. At best, the walk is at present &#8220;sketchy,&#8221; and at its worst, shit your pants scary. <\/p>\n<p>But with that many residences being constructed in close proximity to the financial district, there might actually be <i>people<\/i> there on the weekend. Now of course, there are just a few stray dog walkers and the occasional jogger.
