The new Fields Development Project has been years in the making. <\/p>\n<p>The Paulus Hook project sits along the light rail tracks and fills in one of the last larger properties along the canal. The project is a block from the existing waterfront walkway, and a pathway along the light rail tracks connects to the Liberty Harbor development at Marin Blvd. <\/p>\n<p>The site is the former Bel-Fuse company which moved across the street. The property was remediated prior to the real estate collapse, and the project sat dormant.
